Prime Minister on the launch of "Moscow Mechanism" – The countries that are not favorably disposed towards our people are the ones presenting such an initiative, it is very sad, although we remain in a unilateral friendship regime with these countries too

All these years, an unjust campaign has been waged against Georgia and the Georgian people, and this is a continuation of it, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists regarding the launch of the "Moscow Mechanism" by 24 OSCE countries.

According to the head of government, the initiators of such an initiative are "countries with an inappropriate attitude towards the Georgian people".

"All these years, an unjust campaign has been waged against Georgia and the Georgian people, and this is a continuation of it. You see that the initiators of such an initiative are countries with an inappropriate attitude towards our people. It is very sad, but we remain in a unilateral friendship regime with these countries. It is a continuation of the same line, therefore, this is not interesting for us," - the Prime Minister said.

In addition, Kobakhidze criticized the European bureaucracy and said that the situation in the European bureaucracy is very difficult today.

In particular, the Prime Minister was asked about the letter sent by the Speaker of the Parliament to the EU Ambassador, to which the EU has not responded so far. Tthe Head of Government noted that he does not expect a healthy position from the EU.

"I cannot be optimistic. The support for violence, the incitement to violence in our country has continued for so long that we do not expect a healthy position in this regard either, although I hope there will be turning points in the European bureaucracy. Today the situation in the European bureaucracy is very difficult, if there are turning points, in this case, the approach towards the Georgian people and our state will also change," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
