Prime Minister - Is political activity the only field of employment for NGOs? - They do not have the support of the Georgian people, they go and receive money from abroad, we do not restrict anything

The only thing that is restricted is that political activities cannot be carried out with foreign funding in our country, is political activity the only field of employment for non-governmental organizations? If they want to be politically active, they should do it with the support of the Georgian society, not with the support of foreign forces, - said the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to him, as they do not have the support of the Georgian people, they receive funding from abroad.

"As they do not have the support of the Georgian people, they go and receive money from abroad, we do not restrict anyone. Foreign funding means that any person who wants to be politically active must have the support and find resources for this within the country, as is the case in all healthy states. We want to be a healthy state, and the laws that are adopted serve this purpose," - said the Prime Minister.
