Irakli Kobakhidze - We all: the government, business, as far as possible, should take care of reducing prices, we should alleviate the social burden on the population

This is an important fact in itself and I hope that other companies will follow it. We all, the government and business, must act with high social responsibility and, wherever possible, we must take care of reducing prices, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to a question about the decline in egg prices.

According to him, everyone must act with high social responsibility in the direction of reducing prices.

"We need to ease this social burden on our population. I think there are resources for this. Parliament will also be involved, a relevant parliamentary commission has been created, and starting next week, meetings will be held in the format of the commission with representatives of the relevant sector, and the public will receive direct information, based on these open meetings, about the current situation, how prices are formed, and to what extent there are resources to reduce prices. Based on all this, we must all act together with high social responsibility and take care of lowering prices," Kobakhidze said.
