Irakli Kobakhidze: The government has received an invitation to the Munich Conference; the Foreign Minister may attend

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that the Georgian government has received an invitation to the Munich Conference and that Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili may attend.

Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze noted that he himself will not participate in the conference.

“Our representative will attend the Munich Conference. In what format the government will be represented - this will become known later. It may be Maka Botchorishvili. The public will hear from us about this when necessary. I will not be at the Munich Conference. The government has received the invitation, and a government representative will attend. That is all I can say at this stage,” Kobakhidze stated.

For reference, the Munich Security Conference will be held on February 13-15, 2026.
