Salome Samadashvili - Georgian Dream is quickly becoming like a person falling into a swamp, sinking deeper with every new move

According to one of the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Salome Samadashvili, the new laws adopted by the Georgian Dream are absurd in content and cannot be fully implemented.

Samadashvili writes on social networks that the aforementioned laws will be used selectively in practice and may become the basis for restricting political activity for specific people and launching criminal prosecution against certain individuals or organizations.

“The new laws adopted by the Georgian Dream are absurd in content and cannot be fully implemented. Obviously, these ugly laws will be used selectively, to prohibit political activity for specific people, for criminal prosecution of specific individuals or organizations. All these laws violate the Constitution of Georgia. Sooner or later, the Strasbourg Court will have the opportunity to establish this, for sure. (Of course, if Russia does not instruct the regime to expel us from the Council of Europe as well). Politically, the adopted laws only further legitimize the autocratic content of the regime. It will also produce corresponding results in the international context, in terms of the regime's further isolation. Georgian Dream is becoming like a person falling into a swamp, sinking deeper with every new move," Samadashvili writes on the social network.
