This is a unity of immoral people - it doesn't matter if they are alone or together, 0+0, nothing changes, - the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, said when talking about the Opposition Alliance.
According to him, they are not interested in the country or the fate of the country.
"This is a unity of immoral people. They are radicals who have emerged from the bosom of the National Movement. They may be called by different names, they have one master, they are children of one father, they are governed from the outside. They will do whatever they are instructed. They will also take a step against the country. They are not interested in the country, the fate of the country. It doesn't matter if they are alone or together, 0+0, nothing changes," - Kaladze noted.
Kakha Kaladze does not rule out that the "radical part of the opposition", including former Public Defender Nino Lomjaria, "are working to restrict visa-free travel to the European Union for Georgian citizens".
In response to a journalist's question about the alleged topic of the meeting between Nino Lomjaria and German Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Peter Fischer, Kakha Kaladze stated that these people are doing everything against the Georgian people and the country.
"I do not rule out anything, anything is expected from these people. They are enemies of the country. We have heard many statements from them and they do not shy away from anything, they have nothing to hide, they directly talked about doing everything and working to keep the country under sanctions, to prevent the country from receiving visa liberalization, to prevent the association agreement from being signed. We also remember that they ran around the offices regarding the candidate status and then they themselves started talking about it, that some opposition leaders and specific parties were working in Brussels to prevent Georgia from receiving candidate status.
Accordingly, I do not rule out that even today these people are working to restrict visa-free travel to European countries for citizens of our country with Georgian passports. Usually, they are enemies of the country and are doing everything against the Georgian people and the country," the Tbilisi mayor said.
