The opposition must block every path for this regime, — this was stated by Georgia’s third President, Mikheil Saakashvili, during a court hearing.

At the same time, as Saakashvili noted, against the backdrop of events in Iran, the authorities’ actions must be cautious, “but we must also preserve dignity.”

“Now that they have appointed the son of that executioner — he is a billionaire, just like the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are billionaires. They make a lot of money because they control Iran’s economy. They invest money in Dubai and various other countries around. In recent years, several thousand Iranian companies have been registered in Georgia. Do you think there is no contribution from the Islamic Guard here? Of course there is! Of course, this is a direct threat not only to the Georgian economy, but to Georgia’s very existence.

It is also important that this unity reacts to all these issues. We must achieve truly comprehensive sanctions. We must work on these sanctions. The opposition must block every path for this regime. The opposition must not allow the normalization of this situation.

The normal actions of a government in these conditions would be extreme caution. This is the situation where everyone must show extreme caution, but also preserve dignity. What does caution mean? All kinds of prevention of the activity of any foreign special services — Russian and Iranian. So our position would be caution; we would have sufficient weapons and connections to prevent infiltration. They struck Azerbaijan once and will not strike a second time. Because Azerbaijan has so many weapons and such armed forces that Iran would be hit very hard. That is why Iran dislikes Azerbaijan the most. This is a proud position and this is a position of security.

Georgia, of course, cannot become one of America’s top allies — this is already clear unless the situation changes here. If the situation changes, Georgia will be the most important stronghold of the free world and will be the most protected and most developed country.

The situation is simple — for the fifth year Russia has been trying to enter Ukraine.
