The crisis can be resolved through dialogue around two issues: new fair elections and the release of political prisoners, - the Secretary General of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Irakli Kupradze, told journalists, responding to the party's statement that "it is necessary to overcome the destructive logic of confrontation and mutual destruction and to begin responsible political negotiations between the Georgian Dream and the opposition parties".
According to him, this political crisis has damaged civil society, Georgia's national interests, independent media, for which the Georgian Dream is responsible.
“The political crisis has been going on for years. This political crisis has damaged civil society, Georgia's national interests, independent media. This crisis has given rise to new repressive laws. As long as this crisis persists, it is important to understand that the responsibility for all of this lies with the political actor in power, Ivanishvili and the Georgian Dream, but they must have the wisdom to take care of resolving this crisis. On our part, with full political, national, patriotic responsibility, we declare that the crisis can be resolved through dialogue. Around two issues: new fair parliamentary elections and the freedom of political prisoners," Kupradze noted.
