Public Defender visits Paata Manjgaladze, Lasha Beridze, and Irakli Nadiradze in Gldani prison

The Public Defender of Georgia, Levan Ioseliani, visited Penitentiary Institution No. 8 and met with the institution's administration, as well as several prisoners.

“The Public Defender received detailed information about the rights and living conditions of prisoners. He also visited and spoke with prisoners placed in Institution No. 8, including: Paata Manjgaladze, Lasha Beridze, and Irakli Nadiradze.

The Public Defender continues to monitor penitentiary institutions and supervise the state of protection of the rights of accused and convicted persons”, reads the statement.
