Joe Wilson: supporters of freedom are saddened by the anti-American “Georgian Dream” supporting Iran’s terrorist regime

Supporters of freedom are saddened by the anti-American “Georgian Dream” supporting Iran’s terrorist regime, Congressman Joe Wilson (Republican Party) said during his speech in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Supporters of freedom are saddened by the anti-American ‘Georgian Dream’ supporting Iran’s terrorist regime. A Hudson Institute report describes ‘Georgian Dream’s’ support for Tehran and its criticism of President Trump. The ‘Georgian Dream’ puppet prime minister visited Iran twice in 2024 and stood alongside leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah. In 2025, ‘Georgian Dream’ expressed sympathy for Iranian terrorists killed as a result of U.S. and Israeli airstrikes. Recently, on March 2, ‘Georgian Dream’ offered condolences over the death of Iran’s supreme mass murderer, Khamenei,” Wilson stated.

According to him, “the Georgian people deserve fair and free elections.”

“The Georgian people do not deserve elections rigged by war criminal Putin, who installs his mafia accomplices in power. The legitimate president of Georgia is Salome Zurabishvili,” the American congressman noted.
