Tamar Chergoleishvili - A visit to the US is planned - We are going for one reason: to present our plan, how we change the government, how we defeat the regime allied with Russia and how the free world is winning in the entire South Caucasus

We are going to the US for one reason - to present our plan, how we are changing the government, how we are defeating the Russian-allied regime in Georgia - one of the leaders of the Federalists party, Tamar Chergoleishvili, told journalists.

She confirmed that the Opposition Alliance is planning a visit to the US.

"A visit is planned, before that we will have a visit to Europe, on behalf of the Alliance. We are going to the US for one reason - to present our plan, how we are changing the government, how we are defeating the Russian-allied regime in Georgia and how the free world is winning in the entire South Caucasus," Chergoleishvili said.

In addition, she also assessed the telephone conversation between Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to Tamar Chergoleishvili, this phone call confirms that the US has an interest in Georgia.

"The shortest distance between Georgia and Iran is 160 km. The US is preparing a ground operation, Tehran is 1000 km from Tbilisi. This call is good. It means that the US has interests in Georgia, we remember very well how the training and equipping program began during Shevardnadze's time and this was followed by a change very soon, the same will happen here. The defeat of the Russian regime in Georgia will be a victory not only for the Georgian people, but also for the entire free world, and we will celebrate this victory together," Chergoleishvili said.

In addition, she also assessed the presentation of new charges against one of the leaders of the opposition, Aleko Elisashvili.

"Aleko Elisashvili behaved inadequately. I really feel sorry for him for what the Georgian Dream regime is going to do to him, but it has nothing to do with us, with this campaign," Chergoleishvili said.
