The Georgian government is ready to turn over a new leaf in the relations with the United States - we don't need masters, we need friends and partners, - said the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, about the telephone conversation between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
In the context of US-Georgian relations, he noted that various types of meetings are scheduled for April, which, hopefully, will be joyful for Georgian society.
Kaladze refrained from discussing further details and said that we should wait for the development of events.
"We very much hope that we will turn over a new leaf. Let's wait until there are concrete things. You know that the month of April has been named, when various types of meetings will be held, and there will also be interesting news. I am sure that those who love our country and our city will be proud of the information that will become known to the public very soon. This concerns general relations and future partnership and the deepening of relations between us in general. I will refrain from giving more details at this stage, let's wait for the development of events, everything will be clear and obvious," Kakha Kaladze told Rustavi 2.
