The demonstration is moving from the Rustaveli metro station to the Government Administration building.
Alongside the patients’ parents, the march also includes people who support the import of the medication for children in Georgia.
Participants are heading toward the Government Administration carrying red balloons and banners with various messages.
According to the parents, they are once again trying to make their voices heard by the authorities - emphasizing that children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy need assistance, that importing the necessary medication is vital for them, and that every day is critical for patients with this condition.
Today, they also encountered the procession held in connection with Family Purity Day at Freedom Square, where they asked the clergy leading the march for support and blessings.
For twenty-eight days now, parents of children with Duchenne disease have been holding continuous protests demanding access to medication and spending nights outside the Government Administration building.
