Relations between Armenia and Georgia are not determined by relations with other countries or associations, - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was quated as saying by Armenpress.
"Relations between Armenia and Georgia have nothing to do with relations with a third party. Naturally, these relations are strategic, long-term, historical and fraternal in nature and will remain so. Another scenario is simply impossible," - Pashinyan noted.
According to Armenpress, Pashinyan stated the above at a briefing in response to a journalist's question regarding Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's comment that "there is an attempt by local agencies and their foreign patrons to somehow set us against Armenia."
According to Pashinyan, Georgia plays an important role in Armenian-European relations.
"As for Georgia, I have clearly stated that Georgia plays a very important and key role in Armenian-European relations and we are very concerned about the current situation. We believe that this situation must be resolved," the Armenian Prime Minister said.
