35 years have passed since Georgia regained its state independence, and since then, we are still walking the 40-year path of Moses - today, 35 years after the restoration of independence, every patriotic Georgian can be proud that Georgia is independent and sovereign like never before, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated this in his speech at the solemn event dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia.

According to the Head of Government, it was precisely the strengthening of independence and sovereignty that gave our country the opportunity, despite the most difficult challenges, to firmly defend its faith, maintain peace, and embark on a continuous path of progress and development.

Today, 35 years after the restoration of independence, every patriotic Georgian can be proud that Georgia is independent and sovereign as never before. It was the strengthening of independence and sovereignty that gave our country the opportunity, despite the most difficult challenges, to firmly defend its faith, maintain peace and establish a continuous path of progress and development, which will surely lead us to the promised land - to the achievement of all our national goals, to a unified and radiant Georgia.

Once again, I congratulate you on the Day of Independence of Georgia, I congratulate you on the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion, long live independent, strong and united Georgia, may God bless our Mother Church and our homeland," the Prime Minister said.
