Saakashvili would do well to write openly as soon as possible about who he is actually accusing of treason, since the fact is that he not only arrived and was caught at the behest of “anonymous” traitors, but also acted throughout 2022 - there are many things that the general public does not yet know and the truth must be learned soon. All knots must be untied with concrete, indisputable facts, and after that, I am absolutely sure, everyone will be able to draw the right conclusion, - Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, writes in another letter sent from prison, once again addressing the third president, Mikheil Saakashvili.
Nika Melia also talks in the letter about the fact that Mikheil Saakashvili last sprayed his slanderous venom when he responded to the May 26 rally.
"Saakashvili must respond to the public interest without any ambiguity. It is better to write openly as soon as possible who he is actually accusing of treason, since the fact is that he not only arrived and was caught at the behest of "anonymous" traitors, but also acted throughout 2022.
The public must know the truth, both the present and the future need this, and history must also preserve the facts that are relevant.
This is not a personal conflict. When one opposition politician, in exchange for his release from prison and transfer abroad, in order to damage the political process and discredit another opposition politician, undertakes to fulfill the conditions stipulated in a secret agreement and fulfills these conditions - this is not a personal conflict!
When the key figure in the secret deal is an "anonymous" traitor, and when he and Saakashvili, or through him, Saakashvili, as you like to say, was ultimately deceived by the government at the final stage of the deal, at the end of 2022, and he was left in prison - this is no longer a personal conflict.
Saakashvili finally unleashed his slanderous venom when he responded to the May 26 rally, saying that the rally was not bad, but when “much more people were ready to free me from prison, such rallies were being suppressed by Melia. In practice, people were ready to die under the sun, but Melia would bring them back home.”
The matter is not about clarifying a private issue, but about satisfying the necessary public interest, without which being on the battlefield is like moving through a minefield. People will learn the truth with concrete facts and evidence. This is necessary so that no one can behave as unworthy and terribly damaging as Saakashvili tomorrow/the day after tomorrow.
Whoever thinks that victory is possible without the truth, without its knowledge, it is a big lie,” writes Nika Melia.
As Melia notes, his relationship with Mikheil Saakashvili has always been very difficult and tense.
“I had my vision and he had his, these two different visions, over time, actually divided the party's voters in two, that party eventually looked more like a coalition than a party. The party had two politicians, with a large electoral base practically equally distributed. Saakashvili had 52%, I had 48%, this was already the case according to the data of May / June 2021 and this was already tangible.
Since the end of 2021, jealousy has taken its toll! However, the general public does not know a lot of things yet and should soon learn the truth, all the knots should be untied with specific indisputable facts and after that, I am absolutely sure that everyone will be able to draw the right conclusion.
Therefore, I will repeat again, Saakashvili should very quickly name that “anonymous” man. He can no longer escape the spotlight with vague statements on this issue," Nika Melia wrote in a letter sent from prison.
