Georgia’s pro-European protesters are being brutally beaten, tortured and abused for demanding a European future, - Polish MEP Krzysztof Brejza responds to the information disseminated by TV Pirveli, which depicts the fact of violence committed by police officers.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs responded to the information disseminated by TV Pirveli and explained that the crime in question was revealed in February of this year by the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, an investigation was launched based on the materials sent, and on February 23, 2026, the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia detained all three police officers as defendants.
