Georgia’s newly established Central Purchasing Body is procuring 595 new vehicles manufactured in 2026 for a total of GEL 47.3 million, according to information published by BPN.ge based on tender documentation.
Specifically, the agency has announced five tenders for the purchase of various types of vehicles intended for several state institutions.
According to the tender documents, the government plans to acquire specialized vehicles (pickups), hybrid vehicles, and hybrid off-road vehicles.
The vehicles are intended for the following government agencies:
The National Food Agency;The Revenue Service;The National Forestry Agency;The Amelioration (Land Reclamation) Service;The State Security Special Service;The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the procurement notices, the government plans to purchase:
305 specialized pickup vehicles for GEL 27,571,695;98 Class III light fully hybrid off-road vehicles for GEL 7,947,800;156 Class III light fully hybrid vehicles for GEL 9,218,040;33 Class II light fully hybrid vehicles for GEL 2,319,900;3 Class II electric vehicles for GEL 270,576.
The technical specifications require that all vehicles being procured be 2026 model-year vehicles.
The submission of bids for the tenders will begin on June 24 and conclude on June 25.
