Irakli Kobakhidze - There are many lies in the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe - such documents have no value for our country and society

There are many lies in the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe - such documents have no value for our country, for Georgian society, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

According to him, the resolution is politically biased in its content.

In addition, the Prime Minister says that representatives of the opposition share responsibility for the "shameful document" that was approved by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

"Such resolutions have no value for us. You know that the situation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, as well as in the European Parliament, is very difficult. All this is reflected in the relevant documents. You can very easily read the text of this resolution and see that there are many lies, inaccuracies, not to mention the fact that this document is absolutely politically biased in its content. Such documents have no value for our country, for Georgian society. Georgian society has learned very well how to evaluate such documents, it knows well what is behind all this, therefore, these documents have no value.

As for the role of the opposition - we know what their role is. They are engaged in sabotage. They are foreign agents. This concerns parties, so-called NGOs. They came to support hostile activities against Georgia. This shows their nature. They share responsibility for the shameful document that "was approved by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe," Kobakhidze said.
