Irakli Kobakhidze to MPs from Gakharia’s party: In general, over the past 10 years we have been winning elections against “rotten eggs,” and I obviously mean you; i I were in your place, I would not be talking about eggs

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze responded to MP Tata Khvedeliani from the “For Georgia” party, who had said that Kobakhidze was “defeated by the price of eggs.”

The Prime Minister also referred to Khvedeliani’s political past.

“Ms. Tata Khvedeliani said that I was defeated by the price of eggs - this was previously said by your fellow party member Levan Buratinova.

I can tell you one thing: in the past 10 years, we have mostly been winning elections against ‘rotten eggs’ - and I obviously mean you. That’s why, if I were you, I would not be talking about eggs.

Also, if I were you, I would not be talking about the ‘Nazis’ (United National Movement). As you know, Ms. Tata was - well, I might not even need to recall past sins, because everyone can have their own political mistakes in the past - but Ms. Tata was an active representative of what was then called the ‘Hitler Youth’ or ‘Misha’s youth,’ and today she is speaking to others as if she had no connection with the ‘National Movement.’ That is incorrect,” Kobakhidze said.
