“It is very unfortunate that a man does not look like a man and a woman does not look like a woman. This is their common face - a union of people who have lost their dignity,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze regarding the physical confrontation between MPs in Parliament.
According to the Prime Minister, opposition representatives had no arguments and therefore, in his assessment, they turned to insults and physical confrontation.
He also said that today’s opposition and the “Georgian Bolsheviks” have in common that both are “agents.”
“It is truly unfortunate what we saw in the chamber. The ‘agent network’ once again showed its face. When they realized they had nothing to say, they turned to rudeness, insults, and physical aggression. This is their shameful face. It is difficult to change anything when you have neither education, nor intellect, nor patriotism - it is difficult to act differently.
It is very unfortunate that a man does not look like a man and a woman does not look like a woman. This is their common face - a union of people who have lost their dignity. Such were the Georgian Bolsheviks a century ago as well. They also had lost their human face - a man’s face as a man, a woman’s face as a woman. This is a reincarnation of that Bolshevik spirit.
What was common between the Bolsheviks of that time and today’s ‘agent network’, which we once used to call the opposition - and that was already a big compliment for them - is that both were agents. When you have signed up for espionage, it is impossible to act with dignity,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.
