According to him, opposition politician Elene Khoshtaria is in unbearable pain and being in prison with this type of pain is tantamount to torture.

Lemonjava notes that the only adequate solution is to transfer Elene Khoshtaria to a civil clinic.

"In a few minutes, Elene Khoshtaria will be visited by her treating doctor, who will examine her once again. She will go from here, from the Rustavi Women's Institution, to the Penitentiary Service, where a decisive meeting will be held regarding the issue of transferring Elene Khoshtaria to the clinic. Today, a final decision must be made on this issue, so once again, Elene Khoshtaria's friends and comrades will gather near the Penitentiary Service at 2:00 PM. Together, we will wait for the final decision regarding Elene's health condition. She must be transferred to the clinic. She is in unbearable pain. Being in prison with this type of pain is tantamount to torture, so the only adequate solution is to transfer her to a civilian clinic. She must undergo a full range of examinations, her diagnosis must be clarified, and adequate treatment must be provided," Lemonjava said.
