Strategic partnership agreement signed between Georgia and Kazakhstan

Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement, the press service of the Georgian government reports.

The Joint Declaration, under which bilateral relations are elevated to the level of a strategic partnership, was signed by Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Following the talks in an extended format between members of the two governments, the relevant agencies of Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed memorandums of cooperation in the fields of culture, information technology and tourism.
