Irakli Kobakhidze meets with President of Kazakhstan

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the one-on-one meeting, the two leaders discussed the positive dynamics of cooperation across various sectors and noted that the signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement would further deepen bilateral relations.

Particular attention was devoted to Georgia-Kazakhstan trade and economic relations. It was noted that there is significant potential to expand bilateral trade, strengthen investment ties and promote the export of various products to the markets of both countries.

The parties also discussed opportunities in the transport and logistics sectors. They underscored the importance of connectivity and the growing strategic significance of the Middle Corridor, as well as the need to coordinate efforts to attract additional cargo flows.
