Tsotne Ivanishvili - I have no interest in engaging in politics

According to Tsotne Ivanishvili, the son of the honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, he has no interest in politics at this stage.

According to Ivanishvili, his main interests are related to philosophy and art history. He noted that he is researching these areas at the academic level. In addition, he said that he has been actively painting for a long time, although he does not plan to make his work public at this stage.

According to him, he supports various youth initiatives and often attends such events as a guest, although this does not mean engaging in political activity.

"Among other things, this issue has been raised many times. I can say quite clearly that I have no interest in getting involved in politics. I have never spoken about what I am studying academically or what I am doing. I have not been public about it for a very long time, but I draw a lot. I am studying philosophy and art history in an academic field, these are two areas that interest me, and I support similar initiatives from our youth. I attend these types of meetings as a guest. I have no interest in getting involved in politics. I am trying to work hard, but at this stage I am not publicizing anything, whether it is technically or conceptually, I want to develop it better," Tsotne Ivanishvili said.

In addition, Tsotne Ivanishvili answered a question related to the European Union and stated that Georgia's strategic goal should be integration into the European Union, however, in his assessment, this process should be carried out in accordance with the country's national identity and traditions.

“Of course, Georgia should strive towards the European Union, towards the values that define Europe, which are Christian morality, human rights, etc. Of course, it should do this by preserving Georgian customs - rules, traditions and dignity, and not at its expense,” said Tsotne Ivanishvili.
