A face-to-face and expanded format meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be held today.
According to the Government Administration, after the meeting, memorandums of cooperation in various fields will be signed between the relevant agencies of the two countries.
For information: Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Georgia yesterday for a two-day state visit. Yesterday, the Georgian Prime Minister hosted the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at an official dinner. Prior to that, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan also held a face-to-face meeting with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili. Mikheil Kavelashvili thanked the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for his firm support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the policy of non-recognition, and awarded him the State Order of Georgia - the Order of the Golden Fleece, with which foreign citizens who make a special contribution to the building of the Georgian state are awarded.
