Irakli Kobakhidze - Solidarity with terrorism is a completely new peak, which has been conquered by both local agents and their patronage outside the country

Solidarity with terrorism is a completely new peak, which has been conquered by both local agents and their patronage outside the country - this once again speaks of the tragic situation that has been created, both in the European bureaucracy and among the local agents, - this is how Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze answered a question, "How would you assess the fact that after the verdict against Aleko Elisashvili, neither Lelo nor ALDE condemned this issue."

According to the Prime Minister, not distancing oneself from such actions at such a time speaks of a common spirit.

"Solidarity against terrorism is a completely new peak, which was conquered by both local agents and their patronage outside the country. This once again speaks of the tragic situation that has been created, both in the European bureaucracy and among the local agents. Everyone knows very well what happened in the city court - a person tried to burn down the court building, which is an act qualified as a terrorist act according to the legislation of all countries. Therefore, not separating oneself from such actions at such a time speaks in itself of a common spirit. Political terrorism, ordinary terrorism and general terrorism are absolutely acceptable to them. This is their common handwriting. In general, what they have been doing all these years is a kind of terrorism. Constant attempts at unrest against the Georgian people and planning scenarios for revolution. However, in this case, this terrorism has already acquired the form of a specific crime. When you do not separate yourself from this, you naturally encrypt your own nature from beginning to end, "- said the Prime Minister

For information, the court found Aleko Elisashvili, a politician and one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia-Lelo party, guilty of attempting to commit a terrorist act. By the decision of Judge Giorgi Gelashvili, the detained politician was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
