"I would like to express my full solidarity with Vakho Sanaia, Giorgi Akhobadze, Tornike Toshkhua, Ia Melitauri, Lasha Dgebuadze, Mariam Mekantsishvili, Vaso Beridze, Sandro Sekhniashvili, Marine Nanava, Shako Baghdoshvili, Tornike Tikaridze, Nato Bolkvadze and all other illegal prisoners. This is what is critically important for our struggle - this determination, this disobedience. Our success is based on such precious moments, when the truth slips from the hands of the system like silver water. It is such heroic people that the freedom of our country is based on! This is what shakes the system. We see how ridiculous, cruel and comical it is how relentlessly the system pursues these 3 letters that stick to them as firmly as ever.

You can't silence a person, no one has ever been able to do that. We live in a period of very severe psychological terror, lies, filth and dehumanization, and such people - Vakho, Giorgi, Tornike, the girls - claim that this terror, this filth is not our normal state. We will not tolerate this and we will definitely win with this attitude,” writes Elene Khoshtaria.

For information, 10 people were detained yesterday near the Tbilisi City Assembly. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainees were holding offensive banners in public space. In addition, according to the agency, they were uttering offensive phrases, violating public order and resisting law enforcement officers. Previously, journalist Vakho Sanaia was sentenced to 14 days of administrative detention for a post he wrote on Facebook. Doctor Giorgi Akhobadze was also sentenced to 25 days of administrative detention.
