Tina Bokuchava's response followed a statement by one of the party's leaders, Petre Tsiskarishvili, who noted that no one will give the Georgian Dream any excuse or reason not to register the United National Movement party, and said that it is very unfortunate if Tina Bokuchava chose this path of fighting her own party. Tsiskarishvili also noted that he presumes that the Georgian Dream party will be happy "based on these hints, to have additional searches in our documents."

According to Tina Bokuchava, the founder and honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, is being restrained by international pressure from abolishing opposition political parties, in the maintenance of which the UNM's foreign team, including her personally, played a major role, and if anything poses a threat to the United National Movement, it is "cheap manipulations."

“I can say three things on this issue: one, if there is anything holding Ivanishvili back from abolishing political parties, and among them, first of all, the United National Movement, it is international pressure, from international friends. Second, if anyone has done anything to maintain this international pressure and make the issue of abolishing parties a very clear red line for Georgia’s international friends, it is the foreign team of the United National Movement, and I will say it directly, including myself personally. I am much more critical of the two years that I spent as the chairwoman of the United National Movement, but I hope that no one will interfere with me on this issue.
