With this, he answered a journalist's question whether Vano Zardiashvili has been removed from the position of Director of the State Electrosystem. According to the Prime Minister, he has no information on this issue and the decision is made by the Ministry of Economy.

"I cannot say whether the decision regarding this will be made directly by the Ministry of Economy. The only thing I can tell you is that under the leadership of Vano Zardiashvili, a lot of things have been done in the electrosystem, we have talked about this many times, a lot of money was saved in the electrosystem under his leadership, many projects were optimized, on the basis of which the state economically implemented the relevant projects. Accordingly, I can only say positive things about Vano Zardiashvili, his activities have been successful throughout this period. The rest is up to him, this decision will be made by the Ministry of Economy, and of course, I will not interfere in this," Kobakhidze said.
