Grigol Gegelia - I can't say when certain people became Russophobes, but I can tell you that Irakli Kobakhidze was then and is now a Russophile - Kobakhidze is a politician acting against Georgians on Russia's instructions

I can't really say when certain people became Russophobes. I can say that Irakli Kobakhidze is the shameful Prime Minister who will go down in the history of this country as a politician who facilitated a special operation by Russian foreign intelligence, - Grigol Gegelia, one of the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, stated, responding to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's post.

According to Gegelia, he can definitely say that Irakli Kobakhidze is a politician acting against Georgians.

"I really can't say who and when became a Russophobe. I can say that the political leaders and team of Lelo-Strong Georgia have always had a consistent position regarding the Russian fascist federation, but I can tell you for sure that Irakli Kobakhidze was and is a Russophile. Kobakhidze is the shameful Prime Minister who will go down in the history of this country as a politician who facilitated a special operation by Russian foreign intelligence, a politician who acted against Georgians, and a politician who undermined the national, sovereign interests of the Georgian state on behalf of Russia. I can say this with certainty,” Grigol Gegelia said.

For information, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has published a post on social media that touches on the current and previous government’s attitudes towards Russia. As Kobakhidze writes, “The rhetoric of foreign agents towards Russia has never been so harsh and negative either before the 2008 war or after the August war.” According to the Prime Minister, in this context, a logical question arises: “Why did they become Russophobes now and not then?”
