The actions and lies of “Georgian Dream” put Georgia at risk of being openly dragged into Russia’s war on Russia’s side. And this, based on the current dynamics of the war, may make Georgia’s territory a target for strikes from the Ukrainian side, - this is stated by one of the leaders of “Coalition for Change,” the convicted Elene Khoshtaria, whose statement was published on her Facebook page.

According to her, an appeal should be made to the European Union so that it investigates the actions of the Georgian authorities and in this way the threat of war for the country is averted.

“No matter how hard ‘Georgian Dream’ tries, under international law the parties to the conflict are Georgia and Russia - as the occupying force. Accordingly, the issue of trade on the occupied territories is regulated between these two parties with the participation of mediators, that is, the European Union.

In the conditions of the State Security Service’s revanchism and an irresponsible government, in order for us to avert war, we must urgently appeal to the European Union to investigate the actions of the illegitimate and, according to their own information, Russian government. Accordingly, to punish precisely this illegitimate gang and not the territory of Georgia, including its occupied part. Otherwise, we will all be responsible for participation in Russia’s aggressive and terrorist war, together with North Korea and Bidzina,” Khoshtaria stated.
