We see “Georgian Dream’s” retreat on the issue of Ukraine, because in reality “Georgian Dream” had no principles whatsoever and does not have them now either - they remembered that, it turns out, Ukrainian children live in Georgia, that, it turns out, Ukraine’s Independence Day also comes once a year, and that, it turns out, a tower can be illuminated in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, - this was stated by one of the leaders of “Lelo - Strong Georgia,” Grigol Gegelia.

According to Gegelia, the “Georgian Dream” authorities, seeing that Russia is achieving no tactical or strategic success whatsoever in the war against Ukraine, decided to soften their positions toward Ukraine.

“Seeing that Russia is unable to achieve success, contrary to the expectation that Ivanishvili and the ‘Georgian Dream’ regime had, that Kyiv would fall in one week, now, of course, even the ‘Kotsi’ sees that Russia is unable to achieve any substantial tactical or strategic progress and, accordingly, the unprincipled, faceless leaders of ‘Georgian Dream’ decided to have a relatively softened position on Ukraine and they even remembered that, it turns out, Ukrainian children live in Georgia who need help, that, it turns out, Ukraine’s Independence Day also comes once a year, and that, it turns out, a tower can be illuminated in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, instead of cursing Ukraine, attacking it, calling it the party of war and accusing Ukraine of starting the war that was started by Russia, which is what the ‘Kotsis’ were doing throughout all these years. This is yet another confirmation and a very clear example of the fact that the ‘Kotsi’ has no principle whatsoever, no ideological view whatsoever, no key value axis whatsoever, but is, unfortunately, a grey, faceless regime attached to Russia, which does everything for the purpose of saving its own skin,” Gegelia stated.
