Bidzina Ivanishvili has turned the Lars checkpoint into the Gate of Mordor - Russians are being placed in a dominant position, they are taking over the real-estate market, large amounts of property, business and are creating a threat to Georgian statehood, - this was stated by the Chairman of the Governing Board of the “United National Movement,” Irakli Pavlenishvili, at a briefing held at the Lars checkpoint.

According to him, tens of thousands of Russians have already taken Georgian citizenship by the simplified methods of “Georgian Dream” and even more will take it “if we do not soon send Bidzina Ivanishvili and his regime packing.”

“We are at the Lars checkpoint, which Bidzina Ivanishvili and his regime have turned into the Gate of Mordor. Precisely from here the largest part of the citizens of the occupying country, Russia, enter uncontrolled. They come into our country, take citizenship very easily, because ‘Georgian Dream’ has simplified the procedures. Precisely in this way the replacement of Georgians is being carried out. Hundreds of thousands of Georgians are leaving our country because of lack of prospects and poverty, while hundreds of thousands of Russians are entering. Tens of thousands of them have already been given citizenship and even more will be given if we do not soon send Bidzina Ivanishvili and his regime packing.

In order for us to survive, not to allow the fulfilment of their cunning design - Georgia without Georgians - the dismantling of this system and the defeat of the tentacles of this empire in Georgia is necessary. At the briefing held at the Lars checkpoint, a member of the Political Council of the “United National Movement,” Beso Shengelia, also spoke and stated that according to the data of the Department of Statistics more than 28 thousand Russians have received Georgian citizenship, while Bidzina Ivanishvili is preparing for the 2028 elections and is trying to bring as many Russians as possible into Georgia.

“The Lars border checkpoint is not only a border checkpoint. This is a filter of Georgia’s national security. Today this filter has been removed by Bidzina Ivanishvili’s regime. According to the data of the Department of Statistics alone, more than 28 thousand citizens of Russia have received Georgian citizenship. Ivanishvili is preparing for the 2028 elections and wants to bring as many Russians as possible into Georgia through the Lars border checkpoint. We must try maximally to defeat this regime, to dismiss it, and for Georgians and Georgia to belong only and solely to national people who want to live in this country. Georgia will definitely be European; here at Lars the flags of Georgia and the European Union will fly,” Beso Shengelia stated.
