Irakli Kobakhidze invited by Nikol Pashinyan to attend COP17 Leaders’ Summit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the COP17 Leaders’ Summit, according to information released by the Government of Georgia.

According to the government, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan invited Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the COP17 Leaders’ Summit, which Yerevan will host in October as part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

“The heads of government of the two countries held a telephone conversation. Irakli Kobakhidze thanked Nikol Pashinyan for the invitation to the summit. The sides also discussed the strategic partnership between the two countries and the positive dynamics in developing cooperation in various areas,” the statement reads.
