The investigative bodies knew from the very beginning that neither I, nor those who are being questioned now or were questioned yesterday, possessed any specific information about the episode of Lazare Jorbenadze’s suicide,” Alliance of Patriots leader Irma Inashvili stated after the completion of her questioning at the Main Directorate.

According to her, more concreteness is needed from Irakli Gharibashvili, and she calls on him to ensure that “when he intends to publish such a letter again, there should be more detail and specificity in those future letters, because we react step by step.”

Accordingly, in my testimony, which I am sure will be published, it does not say ‘I don’t know, I don’t know.’ I want to destroy this PR trick of the talentless PR managers of the Georgian Dream and say that this testimony contains exactly what I have already spoken about.

I am demanding an investigation, and this is also reflected in this testimony, regarding the first episode of Irakli Gharibashvili’s fifth letter – namely that Mdinaradze and Kobakhidze sent him the newspaper Asaval-Dasavali in February. I demand that the people who sent it be questioned, that Mdinaradze and Prime Minister Kobakhidze be questioned, and there is a serious question: why was an interview in Asaval-Dasavali, in which Lazare Jorbenadze spoke about the Gareja issue, so disturbing to them?

From today, questions are already being asked in connection with Gareja, and as for the suicide, the investigation should work on the details of the suicide. On the contrary, there is a whole cascade of questions here: what connection does this suicide, or possible suicide, have with the article-interview that was published in Asaval-Dasavali – that is, the David Gareja topic that Lazare Jorbenadze was talking about, and the ‘classified’ document that Lazare Jorbenadze was talking about. The investigation should go in this direction, and I demanded this in my testimony. When this testimony is published, you will have the opportunity to read it, and what I am saying will be confirmed.

No one knows how events will actually develop. Personally, I do not know what else Gharibashvili will write, what letter he will publish.
