Cooperation in the space sector is one of the most important issues today, both for European and global security, - Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili stated in a conversation with journalists.
In particular, Maka Bochorishvili commented on the participation of the Georgian Prime Minister in the summit organized at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the event represents an important opportunity for Georgia both in terms of multilateral discussions and deepening bilateral relations.
"President Macron's initiative envisages dialogue with partners and it is important that Georgia is invited to participate in the summit at the highest level, initiated by President Macron, within the framework of the dialogue on this issue. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will take part in the planned event. In addition to the fact that Georgia is part of important discussions, the summit is also noteworthy from a bilateral perspective. Many delegations are represented there, leaders of different countries, and it is a good opportunity for Georgia to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of different countries," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, whose comments were released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
