“I am demanding that my son be found. Even if I have to go to Ivanishvili’s door, I will go there. I will not leave this case unresolved,” said Sopho Bibilashvili, the mother of Guram Dadianidze, a minor who went missing in Dusheti Municipality in 2014.

She is calling for an investigation into the case and says that if the investigation does not proceed in the right direction, she will take to the streets to protest alongside other people.

“I am waiting for the investigation to bring this case to a conclusion, but I also want to emphasize that if the investigation does not proceed in the right direction, I will have to take to the streets together with the people. I am demanding that my son be found. Even if I have to go to Ivanishvili’s door, I will go there. I will not leave this case unresolved,” Sopho Bibilashvili told TV Pirveli.

Meanwhile, family lawyer Tariel Kakabadze said that several individuals who had not previously been questioned have emerged in the case of Guram Dadianidze. The lawyer called on the investigative authorities to continue working intensively and do everything possible to establish the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 17-year-old Guram Dadianidze.

“Imagine, actions related to this case have been ongoing for 12 years. The investigation began three years after the specific incident, and these individuals had never once been summoned by the investigative authorities. The information provided by these individuals clearly contradicts and rules out one another; it is mutually contradictory information. This raises the question: who is lying, and why are certain individuals interested in providing the investigative authorities with false information and concealing the truth? That is precisely why we urge the investigators to work effectively,” lawyer Tariel Kakabadze said.

For reference, 17-year-old Guram Dadianidze went missing in 2014. He was on a school trip in the village of Kvemo Mleta, Dusheti Municipality, during the Lomisa festival. The case remains unresolved, as no trace of Guram Dadianidze has been found. His mother, Sopho Bibilashvili, continues to seek assistance in finding her son.
