Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili has posted another statement on social media from Brussels, accusing his opponents, whom he refers to as a “sect,” of hysteria.

According to Papuashvili, they apparently believe that when entering Brussels, one should leave one’s own opinion at the entrance.

“Before I return from Brussels, the city that is sacred and eternal to the sect, I am reading the reactions to my description of their nature on the 666th day since the sect was founded.

The first impression is already impressive: in their attempts to respond, the members of the sect themselves confirm the characteristics described in the text. Therefore, I will return to these reactions periodically, with specific examples.

Let this reaction be the first example: ‘They are in Brussels, so how can they not change their critical tone?’

In their view, the moment you enter the ‘holy city,’ your voice, tone, and behavior should change. More reverence, more awe, head and eyes lowered.

And when a person says the same thing in Brussels as they do in Tbilisi, a crack appears in the belief in the supernatural power of the holy place: how can you go there and not speak with your head bowed?

This is precisely where the hysteria begins. Maintaining independent judgment becomes blasphemy in their eyes. And whatever causes a crack in their faith must immediately be driven out. Whoever does not bow their head must be verbally stoned.

Apparently, in their view, when entering Brussels, you should leave your own opinion at the entrance.
