Prime Minister on US lifting restrictions on Russian diesel: It has once again become evident that the decision we made - not to join the sanctions against Russia - was rational, pragmatic, correct, and the only viable option

It has once again become evident that the decision we made - not to join the sanctions against Russia - was absolutely rational, pragmatic, correct, and the only viable option, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in response to a journalist's question regarding the United States lifting restrictions on Russian diesel.

According to the head of government, this reflects the policy of the United States.

"You will recall the massive campaign that ensued when we decided not to join sanctions against Russia at that time. Against this backdrop, we now see that sanctions are being eased. It has once again become evident that the decision we made back then—not to join the sanctions against Russia—was absolutely rational, pragmatic, correct, and the only viable option," the Prime Minister noted.
