According to the hospital, the Ministry of Health has signed a contract with ICME Healthcare, an international consulting and engineering company, to prepare the architectural and engineering designs for the new building.

“The new building will house comprehensive medical services based on modern technologies and international best practices, including an operating theatre complex, intensive care and critical care units, an emergency department, and a radiology department. These services will be relocated from the existing building to a new facility that meets modern standards. Under the rehabilitation plan, the existing buildings of the Republican Hospital will also be renovated.

“The international company selected to design the new building has many years of experience in medical infrastructure planning,” the statement reads.
