Giorgi Gakharia on the issue of banning political parties: We call on international partners to act - passive observation is no longer enough

Giorgi Gakharia, chairman of the political party For Georgia, has commented on the issue of banning political parties in Georgia, calling on international partners to take action.

“We call on our international partners to act and firmly stand with the Georgian people in protecting democracy, pluralism, and the rule of law,” Gakharia wrote on social media.

According to Gakharia, passive observation is no longer sufficient.

“Passive observation is no longer enough. The international community’s hesitation today will leave it facing a much more difficult crisis to manage tomorrow,” Gakharia stated.
