According to Paata Gogiashvili, the lawyer for the imprisoned brothers Davit and Goga Peikrishvili, Goga Peikrishvili slit his wrists last night.

As he stated to "Formula", Goga Peikrishvili wanted to "save his brother's life," who suffered injuries after several individuals, including Vato Kipiani and Avtandil Bilanishvili (also known as "Katsro"), were placed into his cell.

"Goga Peikrishvili also has injuries; last night he slit his wrists to save his brother's life and to prevent this physical pressure from continuing. The situation is very severe. The demand is for these prisoners to be separated, as they are opposing parties. The prison staff know all of this perfectly well.

Davit Peikrishvili has four broken ribs, a fractured skull, broken facial bones, and bruises, yet no investigation has been launched. He was transferred to 'Vivamedi' [clinic] only after his mother made a comment about the incident. Last night at 22:00, a representative of the Public Defender entered Establishment No. 8, and the prisoner was shown to them in a cell with the lights turned off. Therefore, whether they did not notice or failed to notice the injuries [I cannot tell you]. Davit Peikrishvili himself could not tell the Public Defender's representative about the injuries because two men were sitting with him in the cell. He is a captive," stated Paata Gogiashvili.

As a reminder, brothers Davit and Giorgi Peikrishvili, associated with criminal circles in Tbilisi, were arrested on September 22 of this year. The arrest is linked to violence and extortion. As for Vato Kipiani, Shota Kipiani, and Avtandil Bilanishvili (so-called "Katsro"), their arrest took place on October 15, 2026. They are accused of committing group violence.
