According to the Polish media, local Prosecutor's Office accuses 39-year-old Georgian Mamuka Khetsuriani of killing a 28-year-old woman in Poland.
"The woman was beaten and raped. She was stabbed to death," the prosecutor said.
The Polish media reports that after committing the crime, Khetsuriani crossed the border of Poland-Ukraine. Investigators believe that he is in Georgia now.
"In the same case, two more Georgians and one citizen of Belarus were also arrested for assisting the covering up the crime," the Polish media reports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia confirms that 39-year-old Mamuka Khetsuriani is wanted by Polish Interpol.
The Ministry refrained from commenting on the information released by Polish news agencies that Mamuka Khetsuriani may already be in Georgia.
