Council of Heraldry calls upon citizens to fly national flags of Georgia on January 14

The day of national flag of Georgia will be celebrated on January 14. The State Council of Heraldry calls upon citizens to fly national flags of Georgia in their homes, windows, balconies, fences, roofs or cars to pay respect to the most important symbol of Georgian statehood and independence, national and personal freedom.

As InterPressNews was informed by the State Council of Heraldry, the flag is a symbol of national unity, nation's historic road, its spirit and the future.

"The day of national flag is a national holiday. The national flag is a symbol of dignity for each citizen, each family”, reads the statement of the Council.
