Georgia’s Healthcare Minister David Sergeenko announced on Friday that the government plans to purchase additional amount of anti-flu vaccines. According to Minister Sergeenko, readiness of population for immunization is increased.
Motivation has increased in the direction of vaccination in the population.
“In October-November we conduct the vaccination among high-risk groups, but we used only part of the ordered vaccines. Now, the readiness of population for immunization has been increased. On the one hand, we welcome the initiative of one of the companies on the free immunization and we are going to make the order to purchase additional amount of anti-flu vaccines,” Davit Sergeenko said in response to the question of InterPressNews agency.
