Vaccination against measles to be free for everyone

Measles vaccination will be free for everyone from today evening, - Health Minister Davit Sergeenko said.

Relevant amendments will be adopted at today's governmental session.

The Minister called on the population to get vaccinated again, if they do not remember whether they were vaccinated in the childhood or not. According to him, re-vaccination is not dangerous for health.

“This especially concerns to persons between the ages of 20 and 40. Children should be vaccinated according to the schedule, while people above 40 should be vaccinated only if they were in contact with measles”, the Minister said.
