Trump urges supporters to send “bricks” to Democrats

The Trump campaign is sending fake bricks to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., in response to the standoff over border wall funding.

For $20.20 each, Trump supporters can send Pelosi or Schumer a faux red brick inscribed with information about why the campaign thinks a border wall is necessary.

“I have a great idea that will give Chuck and Nancy no choice but to listen to the American people: Send a BRICK straight to their offices and remind them WE NEED THE WALL!” Trump wrote on Facebook.

The White House has been in a standoff with Democrats over border wall funding, with each side refusing to budge. The government has been partially shutdown since late December as negotiations stalled.
