“Geocell” and “MagtiCom” mobile phone operators will increase the price of the tariffs for their subscribers from March 1.

According to Silknet company, which purchased “Geocell” in late 2018, the price of the bucket “METI”, offering local calls, SMS and internet in one unified package, will be increased. In particular, Meti S will cost GEL 7, instead of the current GEL 5; Meti M – GEL 15, instead of the current GEL 10 and the price of Meti Unlimited will increase from the current GEL 25 to GEL 30.

As for the tariffs of MagtiCom company, from February 18, “Martivi 25” package will be replaced by “Martivi” package and its price will be GEL 30 instead of the current GEL 25. However, the citizens will get 1 500 mb internet instead of 1 000 mb within the “Martivi” package.

According to the statements of the both companies, the standard MB price (1MB, 70 Tetris) will be reduced to 10 Tetris.

In addition, the mobile operators are imposing SIM card cost and it will be 20 Tetris per month for MagtiCom subscribers and GEL 1 per 180 days for Geocell subscribers.
