Arrested clergyman said to be released by the end of day

A clergyman, detained near the occupation line, in the outskirts of the village of Nikozi yesterday, is still in Tskhinvali.

According to the reports, Father Davit Durglishvili will leave the territory controlled by the de facto regime today.

"Father Davit is still in Tskhinvali. We were informed that he will be released by the end of the day. The EU mission and several state agencies are involved in the process. We have constant contact with them and are waiting for the latest information. I cannot tell you other details," said a representative of the Nikozi and Tskhinvali Eparchy, father Davit Mchedlidze.
